Family Fun Day at Littleborough RUFC raises a fantastic grand total of £4,886.38!

THANK YOU!

On behalf of all our trustees we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our family fun day on Saturday 20th August at Littleborough RUFC. We hope you all enjoyed the day as much as we did!

All money is now counted and following a couple of late donations made to go toward the day, we are so proud and overwhelmed to say that we have now raised a fantastic total of £4,886.38!!!

Thank you to all our family, friends and local businesses who donated cakes, prizes and supplies for the day and to our big supporters and sponsors shown below who enabled us to make this day happen and to be the success that it was.

With special thanks also to our wonderful volunteers who worked tirelessly on the day, to our amazing performers, our brilliant compare, our penalty shoot out and giant inflatables businesses, our balloon twister, Roch Valley Radio, the bar staff at the club who were run off their feet, our rugby referees and players and all our stall holders who all helped to make the day full of fun!

Our wonderful volunteers from top left: Ava Hayden Robyn Long, Tony Macaroni, Oliver Lee & Jordan Shaw from Edstart Calderdale, Hayley Jones (trustee), Becky Gibson, Mel Jones, Nicholette Brady, Dave Charnock, Andy Hayden, Clair Carson & Ian Smith from State of Mind Sport

We are truly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown of everyone who got involved and wanted to support After Matters, but also to everyone of you who came along with your families and bought goods, food, drink and raffle tickets.

More of our wonderful volunteers helping out on the day from top left: Gemma Twiddy & Kerry, Danny Long, Coral Long, Jayne Charnock, co-founder Maxine Hayden Mandy Fallon, our live music band Rohan Young, volunteers Katie Makinson, Emi Booth & blues band The Mighty Revelators

The funds raised will be used to fund specialised treatments and therapies for our young brain injury survivors, which isn’t always free or readily available on the NHS and this will help to enable them to achieve their best possible recovery. We know from personal experience how vital having the right specialised treatment at the time can be and this means so much to all our team. THANK YOU! 🤍
