The personal story of one of our trustees and how the After Matters support group was founded

Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Story from Matthew Hayden

Matthew suffered a traumatic brain injury after being assaulted in 2018. In this video, he shares his story along with his mother Maxine, who launched a support group together with Louise, who’s son Aidan also sustained a traumatic brain injury around the same time. They met in hospital and their difficult journey and experience led them to set up a support group called After Matters, to help other young brain injury survivors and their families.
